• We provide CNY 800,000 for each grantee, with duration of 5 years.

• The grant can be used for any research-related expenses.

• Candidates will satisfy following requirement:

– has his/her independent laboratory in any government recognized
university or research institution in Mainland China

– has been an independent investigator for no longer than 5 years (
depends on tenure track terms) at time of application

– Conduct fundamental research in fields of life science

– We would like to support young investigators with the following
traits: innovative, adventurous, ability to raise questions with
certain level of necessity in the field, and equally important, never compromise the truth

• The grant will be automatically suspended if the following
condition applies:

  – No longer engaged in research work in university or research institutes.

  – if the company ( majority share held by the PI) has completed its
first round of equity fund raising
